Tourist buses in the state have been made mandatory by the colour of white. The outer body was allowed to be white and the centre a darker colour. No other colours, letters, paintings or decorations. The front should only be written as a tourist. The name of the operator can be written at a maximum height of 40 cm on the back.
The uniform colour was introduced to end the unhealthy rivalry between the tour bus operators. The decision was taken by the State Transport Authority (STA), which chairs SriLekha, Transport Commissioner. Newly registered buses and those presenting fitness checks should change colour to legitimate colour. Contract carriage buses were also applied to the white colour allowed for tourist taxi vehicles.
The bus owners took pictures of themselves on the buses as they were out of control. The homogeneous colour came to light when images of models and movie stars appeared to pose a danger to the attention of drivers in other vehicles. The Fans Association, which is in the name of tourist buses, has been forced to restrict its name to a situation in which war is raging.
