James Bond will be back in action in 2019, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Eon Productions have announced.
The 25th film about the legendary super-spy will hit the theaters on 8 November, 2019, reported Deadline. There is no word yet on whether or not Daniel Craig will return for the role.
The cast and director of the upcoming film will be announced at a later date. The script will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who worked on Craig's four Bond films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre. While Martin Campbell directed the first film starring Craig and Marc Forster helmed the second, Sam Mendes directed the last two.
The James Bond film franchise originated in 1962, and is based on the series of books written by Ian Fleming. Thus far, seven actors have played the spy.
