Mushroom Pepper Fry

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Mushrooms sliced
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 6 each Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 2 tsp Black pepper powder

Instructions

  • Heat oil in pan.

  • Temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and cumin seeds.

  • Add in ginger garlic paste and fry in oil for few minutes.

  • Add sliced mushroom and saute along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.

  • Stir fry to cook the masala powders for few minutes.

  • When mushroom starts to release water, add in black pepper powder and fry for few more minutes or until the masala thickens. Switch off!

  • Serve as side for rice or roti!
