New Delhi | The company has released new teasers for Mahindra's upcoming XUV 700. The teaser introduces the new technology in the model. The new model has a system that detects if the driver falls asleep while driving and automatically alerts the driver.This safety feature works according to the irregularity of the steering wheel movement and the driving style of the car. The driver will also play a warning sound to stop the car after a break.
The XUV 700 also features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The system also includes Drowsiness Detection, Lane-Keep Assist, Cross-Traffic Alert and Blind-Spot Detection. The Mahindra XUV700 SUV also features a twin display setup for 360 degree camera, touchscreen and instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, full LED lighting, adaptive cruise control and dynamic turn indicators.
Available in petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol unit produces 320bhp at 150bhp, while the 2.2-liter diesel produces 130bhp and 300Nm of torque. It will have six speed manual and automatic gearbox options. The successor to the XUV500 is expected to be priced between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 22 lakh ex-showroom.
