Honda Gold Wing in new color option; To India by 2022

Honda is all set to launch the BS VI version of the Gold Wing in the country in June 2021.

The ex-showroom price of the model was Rs 37.20 lakh.The company was able to sell the first batch within a few days of booking the model, arriving in a single variant. According to the latest report available, Honda has decided to add new colours to its flagship touring motorcycle, the Gold Wing.

The new colour schemes will be offered as the new 2022 model. In 2022, both Japanese brands will be updated - the GL1800 Gold Wing and the GL1800 Gold Wing Tour. The manual version of the Gold Wing Tour is now available in Gunmetal Black Metallic on a blacked out engine.

The company claims that this was done to increase its overall road presence. The DCT variant of the same model will be available in two new shades - Glint Wave Blue Metallic and Pearl Glare White. The DCT variant of the GL1800 Gold Wing is also available in matte jeans blue metallic colour.

These new colour options will help the brand make this powerful Tourer relevant and maintain its popularity for another year. The company claims that Gold Wing is known for its convenience, excellent performance and the latest technology.

The brand value of Gold Wing is very strong and their customers often upgrade to new models every few years. These new colour options are expected to arrive in India early next year. At the same time, a slight price increase can be expected from the current model. At the same time there will be no changes in features or mechanical parts.

The Honda Gold Wing is powered by a flat-six-liquid liquid-cooled 1,833cc engine paired with a six-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
