IIT-Delhi alumni and faculty founded a Nasal Filter with its breakthrough nanotechnology-based application wants to disrupt the pollution mask and filters market. Nanoclean collaborated with IIT Delhi for advancing the technology. The startup now holds lifelong exclusive rights to commercialise this technology. It can be used in many other applications in various domains of air and water filtration. The startup Nanoclean was founded by Prateek Sharma, Tushar Vyas, Jatin Kewlani.
 “Ocean Services, Technology, Observations, Resources Modelling and Science (O-SMART)”, for implementation at an overall cost of Rs.1623 crore in next five years.  The scheme encompasses a total of 16 sub-projects addressing ocean development activities such as Services, Technology, Resources, Observations and Science. Central Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave formal approval to the project.
ISRO- Premium institution offers to transfer know-how of Lithium-ion technology which has the better edge on lead- Acid battery or Nickel-Metal Hydride battery. This could be a boost to electric Vehicle Start-ups.  'Make in India' drive and ISRO's offer to the transfer of technology to Indian manufacturing industry is to make it possible to increase the production of Lithium-ion batteries to various needs like electric vehicles in India.
"The weather conditions are favourable for the southwest monsoon to move into the South Andaman sea in the next 72 hours, easing fears that a severe cyclonic storm in the south-west Arabian Sea might delay its onset. The Monsoon would arrive in Kerala on May 29", K.Sathi Devi, head of the national weather Forecasting Centre said. The IMD advised fishermen not to venture into the Southeast sea from May 26aswind may strengthen in the region. 
Kerala government has plans to provide free internet facilities to 20 lakh families who come under 'poor' category. To achieve this, Kerala government is intending to set-up a joint venture company to have a new optic fibre pathway. "Kerala Fibre Optic Network Limited will be formed to provide internet connections free of charges to 20 lakh poor families, at an affordable rate to public and government institutions", said Pinarayi Vijayan.
A smart pendant hung with the necklace can pass on information on pressing a button or with an audio password at the time of emergency which will give the exact location where the person is with a signal calling for attention.  In case the person is not in a position to press the button, it can fend signals of danger to the mobile phones connected to the caretakers or well-wishers like parents, close friends. It can send danger signals to one or more person at the same time.

The Researchers of the University of Massachusetts Amherst invented a rapid and low-cost method to detect the bacteria in the food and water. They published it through the online issue "Food Microbiology" and the Royal Societies Chemistry Journal "Analytical Methods". Microbial Contamination was a major research topic for the scientists it has been a problem for a long time. And the researchers believe that the new method will be a great solace to the people all over the world who ate raw vegetables and fruits and will be helpful for the food safety of the nations.
