The Government has decided to hold the Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru from 20-24 February 2019.
പ്രളയം മൂലമുണ്ടായ വൻ നാശനഷ്ട്ങ്ങളുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ നടപ്പു സാമ്പത്തീക വർഷം ഗ്രാമീണ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ മേഖലയുടെ പുനർ നിർമ്മാണത്തിനും പുതിയ കാർഷിക വായ്‌പകൾ  നല്കുന്നതിനുമായി നബാർഡ് 800 കോടി രൂപ കേരളത്തിന് അധികമായി അനുവദിച്ചു. ഗ്രാമീണ   അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ നിധിക്കു (ആർ.ഐ .ഡി.എഫ്) കീഴിൽ ജലസേചന, കുടിവെള്ള പദ്ധതികൾ,സ്‌കൂളുകൾ, ആശുപത്രികൾ, റോഡുകൾ,പാലങ്ങൾ മുതലായ സുപ്രധാന ഗ്രമീണ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ  പുനർനിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിലേക്കുള്ള തുക നടപ്പുവർഷം 500 കോടിരൂപയിൽ നിന്ന് 900 കോടി രൂപയാക്കി ഉയർത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും നബാർഡ് ചെയർമാൻ
In the 6th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Ministerial Meeting held on 30-31 August 2018, in Singapore, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu, led the Indian delegation. The Ministers attending the meeting took stock of the state of negotiations across the various negotiating Groups and Sub-Working Groups. The Chair of the Trade Negotiating Committee, Mr Pak Iman Pambagyo, made a detailed presentation on the state of play of RCEP negotiations and sought ministerial guidance and direction on pending issues.
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval for revision of the project outlay for setting up of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) from Rs. 800 crore to Rs. 1,435 crore.  The additional sum of Rs. 635 crore in the revised cost estimates is on account of Rs 400 crore for Technology Costs and Rs 235 crore for Human Resource Costs.
The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved to release an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners 01.07.2018 representing an increase of 2% over the existing rate of 7% of the Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate for price rise.

In view of the disruption caused due to severe floods in Kerala, Mahe (Puducherry) and Kodagu (Karnataka), the Competent Authority has extended the due dates for filing of the following GST returns by taxpayers registered in these areas:   Sl.  In a bid to unify the assistance for a better coordination, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Smt Harsimrat Badal met food processing industry leaders to plan a strategy for assistance to be provided to people of Kerala. The companies like ITC, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Hindustan Unilever, Dabur, MTR, Nestle, Britannia, Maricoamong others volunteered to, arrived at a consensus “It is time to work as a cohesive unit and make a coordinated effort to help the people of Kerala, instead of separate entities making individual efforts.” proposed by Smt Badal.

Pastor Kuruvila Kulanjikompil Samuel who preaches bible has offered 25 cents of prime land cituated on the high land for the burial of the dead in the floods around that place. He has shown the world 'Practice,Practise only what you preach'.Honouring the unfortunate ones who succumbed to the calamity by giving them a resting place eternal with all the religious tenaments
