Students seeking admission to the 15% NRI seats in private self-financing medical and dental colleges in the state should upload self-attested copies of certificates in proof of qualification on the website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations by 8 PM on June 22, an official release issued by the CEE said. Applications have been invited from personnel of the Kerala Police for admission to the July 2018batch of various courses conducted by the Indhira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)  study centre at the Police Training College, Thiruvananthapuram. The deadline for submitting the application is June 30. Those who interested are adviced to register their names on the website IGNOU Admissions.
Kerala Secondary Education Board declared the results of Plus two examinations today the May 10. The overall successful candidates stand at 83.75%.  There were nearly 3.72 lakh regular candidates and 69,971  from the open school who appeared for the examination. 14,375 students secured A Plus in all subjects and about 3,09,065 have cleared the examination. The Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination result declared today (May 3) by the education minister C.Raveendranath at a press conference held in Thiruvananthapuram. The overall Pass percentage is 97.98 %, last year it was 95.98%. The examination was attended by 4,41,103 students and about 4,31,162 have cleared the examination. More than 34,313 students secured A plus score in all subjects.
Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results may be declared on May 2nd as the valuation camps may complete the valuation of papers by 25th April.  Grace marks and IT examination marks will be included tabulation work may be completed on 25th April.
The revenue additional secretary has issued the order on the land acquisition of the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad will resume next week to take over 44.35 acres from private individuals. As per the order, the land will be forcibly acquired from the individual concerned offering fair value with a reasonable negotiation on land price. Disputes over the fixing of fair value for the land between officials and the landowners had delayed the process for two years.
