Another student is under observation in the General Hospital Isolation Ward. Five students were under surveillance here for five days. All of them are medical students in China. They arrived at Nedumbassery airport together from China.
Among them, the coroner's confirmed student came with fever symptoms. This made isolation into the ward. The students were taken to the hospital and placed under observation in the isolation ward. Three of them were released because their blood test was negative. The isolation remains in the ward as one does not reach the result. The boy is under observation at the General Hospital.
Masks were made compulsory for patients and employees in the hospital. Advise the General Hospital on regular intervals from loudspeakers on preventative measures including wearing a mask.
