Australia eases international travel ban

Sydney: The Australian government is preparing to reopen borders that have been closed for 20 months following the Kovid epidemic. As part of this, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that foreign students and staff will be allowed to enter the country from December 1.

Recipients of both vaccines will be allowed to enter the country.

Kovacs and Kovishield, two Indian-made vaccines, are approved by Australia. Those arriving in the country must have an RTPCR Negative Certificate and Vaccination Certificate taken within 72 hours. At the same time, they have to comply with the existing quarantine laws in the country.
