Vivo announces 5G Y series smartphone in China. The Vivo Y51S supports mid-range 5G support with Samsung's Exynos processor. Features of the smartphone include a 6.53-inch Full HD + display, an 8-megapixel camera with a punch-hole cutout, and 18W fast charging technology. On the back, the Vivo Y51S comes with a rectangular camera module with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and support for 4K video recording.
In China, the Vivo Y51 costs 1798 yuan (approximately Rs. 19,100 in Indian currency). It is only available in one variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Vivo says the phone will be available in China from July 29 in black, blue and white color options. The company has not yet revealed the availability of this phone in other markets.
The Vivo Y51S comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The screen gets a screen-to-body ratio of 90.72%. It comes with a processor from Samsung - an octa-core Exynos 880 processor and an ARM Mali-G76MP5 GPU. The handset supports 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB (UFS 2.1) of storage. It also has a microSD card slot that can expand up to 256GB of memory.
In terms of operating system, this Vivo phone is offered with Android 10 and FinTouch OS 10.5. For optics, a quad camera system is installed behind the Vivo Y51S. It features a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture. For selfies, the front camera comes with an 8-megapixel f / 2.05 aperture.
Another feature of this handset is the 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Features include 5G SA / NSA, GPS / GLONASS, dual 4G Vault, Wi-Fi 802.11A X, Bluetooth 5.1, Micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone port, dual speakers, and a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
