UEFA Awards announced...

The UEFA Awards, which evaluated last season's performance, have been announced. German club Bayern Munich's Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has won the award for best male player. Lewandowski's performance was crucial to Bayern Munich's Champions League victory.

Lewandowski surpassed Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Bayern's Manuel Neuer. Lewandowski also won the award for best striker. Kevin De Bruyne was named best midfielder. He scored 15 goals in the Champions League last season. He has scored 34 goals in 31 games in the Bundesliga and six goals in five games in the German Cup.

Chelsea's Denmark's Pernille Harder has been named UEFA's Player of the Year. Harder, who played for Wolfsburg last season, joined Chelsea this season. Earlier in the 2017-18 season, Harder had won the award. Bayern Munich coach Hansie Flick has been named man of the match. Flick's victory over Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp. Jean-Luc Vassier of Lyon is the best women's coach.

The award for the best male goalkeeper goes to Bayern's German Manuel Neuer. Neuer played a big role behind Bayern's jump last season. Sarah Bouhadi is the best female goalkeeper.
