ISRO- Targets 27 spacecrafts assembly in Three Years.

ISRO, Indian Space Research Organization has opened yet another challenge to assemble 27 spacecraft in three years by drawing expertise from the private sector on a major scale this time.

Alpha Design Technologies PLTd and it's six consortia, Bharat Electronics Ltd and TATA advanced systems Ltd, Hyderabad are the three partners to execute the deal.

ISRO’s first ‘pad abort’ test successful

Crew Escape System is an emergency escape measure to quickly pull the astronaut cabin along with crew out to a safe distance from launch vehicle during a launch abort.

The first 'pad abort' test critical for a future human space mission was conducted successfully on Thursday morning, the Indian Space Research Organisation has announced. The test was conducted at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.

“The Pad Abort Test demonstrated the safe recovery of the crew module in case of any exigency at the launch pad,” the space agency said.

ISRO offers Transfer of Technology- Lithium ion.

ISRO- Premium institution offers to transfer know-how of Lithium-ion technology which has the better edge on lead- Acid battery or Nickel-Metal Hydride battery. This could be a boost to electric Vehicle Start-ups. 

'Make in India' drive and ISRO's offer to the transfer of technology to Indian manufacturing industry is to make it possible to increase the production of Lithium-ion batteries to various needs like electric vehicles in India.

ISRO PUTS RECORD 104 SATELLITES IN ORBIT

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)  set a new record by successfully launching 104 satellites on a single Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket from the Sriharikota spaceport in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday morning.

The PSLV-XL variant rocket, standing 44.4 metre tall and weighing 320 tonnes, shot into the morning skies at 9.28 a.m,  with a booming sound as it broke free from the  free of the earth’s gravitational pull.
